A.J. Williams Medical Scholarship Foundation A.j. Williams Medical Scholarship Foundation is providing scholarships to third and fourth year minority medical school students who are willing to commit to serving poor minority communities for a period of four years upon finishing medical school. 2021 Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship application is now open! The AFE Scholarship awards high school seniors with a $40,000 scholarship for college, plus a paid summer internship program at Amazon following their freshman year.

American Bar Association 2021 Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund is geared towards minority students . The purpose of this program is to encourage racial and ethnic minority students to apply to and attend law school and to provide financial assistance to ensure that these students have the opportunity to attend law school for three years. To apply, the applicant must submit a completed application, a personal statement of up to 1,000 words, unofficial transcript from the undergraduate school, and two letters of recommendation through the online application form. All submissions must be received by the deadline date.


Award: An annual scholarship of $5,000

Eligibility:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

  • This award is for racially and ethnically diverse students.

  • Must have achieved a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale as an undergraduate.

  • Must be starting his/her first year of law school.

  • This award is for U.S. students


Alliantgroup Black Collaborative Scholars Alliantgroup is proud to help light that spark for the next generation of Black engineers, scientists and inventors by developing the alliantgroup Black Collaborative (aBC) STEM Scholarship Program. They are offering at least two $5,000 scholarships for deserving Black High School Seniors in the Greater Houston Area who are interested in pursuing a degree in a STEM field at an institution of higher education in the Fall Semester .


Award: $5,000

Eligibility:

This scholarship is open to Black High School Seniors in the Greater Houston Area with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

• Eligible students must be enrolled in a two to five year institution by the Fall

• Eligible students must plan to pursue a degree in a STEM field

• Previous alliantgroup STEM scholarship winners are not eligible

• Previous alliantgroup STEM scholarship applicants must re-apply


Amazon's Black Employee Network Scholarship Amazon’s Black Employee Network has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors who plan to continue their education in college and pursue a computer science or supply chain-related field of study and career. Recipients of the award receive $5,000 per year for four years for college, plus a connection to industry mentors and peers from Amazon’s Black Employee network.


Award : $5,000 Renewable


Deadline : March 4


Eligibility:

  • Be a high school senior

  • Self-identify as Black or person of African descent

  • Plan to enroll in full time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university

  • Plan to pursue a computer science or supply chain-related field of study and career*

  • Have a minimum unweighted grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)


Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship The program is for current high school seniors of African descent (for example, African American, African, Ethiopian, etc.) who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing) at a four-year college or university in the US in the fall immediately following your high school graduation.


Award:

This year BAM will award 27 scholarships totaling US $175,000:

— four (4) $20,000 scholarships distributed over 4 years ($5,000 per year, renewable)

— eight (8) $10,000 scholarships distributed over 2 years ($5,000 per year, renewable)

— 15 - $1,000 one -time scholarship $5,000 in scholarship opportunities to permanent residents of the listed states who are STEM majors.

Eligibility:

  • Be a US-based high school senior of African descent (for example, African American, African, Ethiopian, etc.)

  • Plan to attend a four-year college or university in the US in the fall immediately following your high school graduation

  • Plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing)

  • Demonstrate a passion for technology.

  • Demonstrate leadership at school or in the community.

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.

  • Require financial assistance to attend college.


The Black Winemakers Scholarship is available to African - American juniors, seniors, and graduate students. You must have a minimum 3.2 GPA to be eligible for this award. Undergraduate students must be majoring in viticulture or enology. Graduate students must be pursuing an advanced degree in agriculture and environmental chemistry, chemical engineering, ecology, food science, integrative genetics and genomics, horticulture and agronomy, microbiology, plant pathology, soils and biogeochemistry, or viticulture

Eligibility:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen

  • Be high school seniors, freshman or sophomore undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 2.5

  • Be majoring or planning to major in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics

  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the upcoming academic year

  • Demonstrate financial need

  • Be willing to consider internship opportunities with Lockheed Martin


The Carrington-Philbert Scholarship was established by Malcolm Carrington and Sherwin Bridgewater in memory of their grandparents, who instilled indomitable values of education, pursuing knowledge and achievement excellence in spite of circumstances. While the scholarship provides financial assistance, the recipients would benefit from the combined experiences and expertise of the CPS team which includes coaching and mentorship.


Award: $2,500


Deadline: May 1


Eligibility:

  • Applicants should be African American

  • Applicants must plan to attend a U.S. two (2)-year community college or four (4)-year college

  • Scholarship awards will be paid during the month of September

  • Applications must be received no later than May 1st

  • Late applications will not be accepted

  • Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher/principal along with their application

  • Winners will have to provide proof of enrollment by August 31st

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation is awarding the CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship to full time African American or Black students pursuing a degree in visual arts including, but not limited to, architecture, ceramics, drawing, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, painting, photography, sketching, video production and other decorative arts.


Award: Varies


Deadline: April 30


Eligibility:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident

  • Be preparing to pursue, or currently pursuing, an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree full-time at an accredited college or university. Current high school seniors are also eligible to apply.

  • Be pursuing a career in the visual arts with an eligible major

  • Have a minimum 2.5 GPA on 4.0 scale

  • Exhibit leadership and be active in community

  • Selected applicants will be qualified African American or black students


The “Sister-to-Sister” Scholarship was named in honor of Dr. Frazier to provide financial assistance to mature African American Women in their pursuit of post-secondary education. An applicant must be a continuing or returning student, whose education was interrupted by family responsibilities or other personal demands and is now ready to complete college or one who is entering college for the first time because of these factors.


Award: $1,000

Eligibility:

  • At least 21 years of age and meet at least one of the criteria stated under “Scholarship Purpose”

  • Two (2) Letters of Recommendation (Letters from family members are not acceptable.)

  • A recent photo with full name listed on back

  • Personal Statement

  • Proof of being accepted to or currently attending a college or university

  • An official transcript from the last college/university you attended, if you are a continuing or returning student.


Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI) Scholarship This program provides scholarships to high school students applying to a Historically Black College and University for a STEM-related degree. If selected, the student will receive a $40,000 scholarship award. This award will be disbursed in the amount of $10,000 per year, for four (4) years, and will go directly to the institution in which the student is enrolled. Selected students will also receive internship preparation and placement, leadership training, mentoring and access to the AIChE student networking opportunities.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a high school senior

  • Applicants must be completing or have completed high school successfully with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

  • Applicants must be accepted as a full-time student at a college or university for the upcoming academic semester.

  • Applicants must plan to pursue studies at a historically black college or university (HBCU).

  • Applicants must plan to pursue studies in a field associated with STEM, MIQA, technical or operation manufacturing.

  • Applicants must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.

  • Applicants must complete and submit a scholarship application by February 15


Goldman Sachs MBA Fellowship The Goldman Sachs MBA Fellowship program is now open for First-year MBA students; Pursuing a 2021 Summer Associate position at Goldman Sachs. This program is open to Black, Hispanic/Latino, Native American or women


Goldman Sachs MBA Fellowship recipients will receive a $35,000 award in addition to the Summer Associate salary. Upon successful completion of the summer internship and acceptance of a full-time offer, Fellowship recipients will be awarded an additional $40,000, plus any full-time Associate signing bonus, as applicable.

  • First-year MBA students; Pursuing a Summer Associate position at Goldman Sachs; Black, Hispanic/Latino, Native American or women

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship is for minority high school students in the United States. In addition to a financial grant, the foundation also provides its scholars with mentoring and leadership development opportunities, and internships.


Award : $7,500


Deadline: January 12


Eligibility:

  • all applicants must be graduating seniors and must belong to a minority group (African American, Hispanic American, Asian American, or Native American).

  • Applicants must also plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States, must show leadership potential, must demonstrate a dedication to community service, and must present evidence of financial need.

  • must have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 22, and not possess a degree from a 2 or 4-year College when applying for the scholarship.


ORACLE Corporate Scholars Program The Oracle Corporate Scholars Program is seeking African American/Black, Hispanic, and Native American students who are currently pursuing a degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Marketing, Legal, Cybersecurity, Product Development and related majors. Candidates must possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. They must have attended a high school in the U.S. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, African American, Native American or Hispanic college student. Students must be a sophomore, junior or senior at time of the application and attend a four-year, accredited college or university located in the U.S by the time of application.


Successful candidates will be offered internships during the summer and subsequent scholarship awards for academic year upon successful completion of the program.

Eligibility:

  • Students must be enrolled full-time at a four-year college or university.

  • Students must be a sophomore, junior or senior at time of the application and attend a four-year, accredited college or university located in the U.S by the time of application.

  • Students must be a U.S. Citizen. or Permanent Resident

  • Students must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

  • Students should have experience with one or more software coding languages either through class/project work or paid/unpaid work experience.

  • Students should complete 3 or more Computer Science courses by summer 2021.

  • Students should provide a current resume in the online application highlighting the following: education, work history, extracurricular activities, honors, awards, community service, and examples of paid or unpaid experience in coding.


PIMCO has created a scholarship to encourage Black and/or African American students who have an interest in investment management to pursue their goals through continued education.

Scholarship recipients will be selected from an application pool of undergraduates. Scholarship awards will be based on each candidate’s ability to demonstrate diversity and inclusion leadership, financial need, and exhibit PIMCO core values- collaboration, openness, excellence, responsibility.

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduates currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university as sophomore or freshmen, in good academic

  • Identify as Black or African-American.

  • Financial need will be a consideration.


PWC While You Work Assurance Program PWC While You Work Assurance Program is now accepting applications for students who self-identify as Black or African-American or Hispanic or Latinx, which are traditionally underrepresented racial and ethnic minority groups within the professional services industry.


Eligibility:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.3

  • Major: Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Accounting & Technology, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Information CyberSecurity & Accounting, Information Technology & Accounting, Management Information Systems & Accounting.


Regions Riding Forward Essay Contest Scholarship Write a story about a Black American individual who has inspired you for the opportunity to earn a $3,500 or $5,000 college scholarship.

High School Students

Regions will award $5,000 scholarships to 15 high school seniors who live in states with Regions branches and will attend an accredited college in the United States during the academic school year.


College Students

Regions will award $3,500 scholarships to 15 freshmen, sophomores or juniors who permanently reside in, or currently attend an accredited college in, states with Regions branches and will attend an accredited college in the United States during the academic school year.


Stantec Equity & Diversity Scholarship Princeton Committee Scholarship The Stantec Equity & Diversity Scholarship will award $200,000 annually to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) students who are also part of Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) and other underrepresented groups.


Award: range $1500 - $10,000

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, in partnership with the Coach Foundation, are proud to offer a fall need-based scholarship up to $5,000 to 80 outstanding students attending HBCUs and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs).


Award: $5,000


Deadline: February 28

Eligibility:

  • Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at a HBCU or university during the academic school year.

  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

  • Submitted the 2022-2023 FAFSA to your selected university/college.

  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.

  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.


The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, in partnership with ETS, is offering a full tuition-only need/merit scholarship for the school year. This scholarship will be awarded to four HBCU scholars attending a private HBCU and four scholars attending a public HBCU, meaning eight HBCU scholars will be awarded in total.

  • Current grade point average of 3.5 or higher

  • Able to demonstrate leadership abilities

VISA BLACK Scholars Program Visa is offering scholarship grants up to $20,000/ year to graduating Black and African American high school students currently applying for college in the United States. Students who meet their commitments are guaranteed a full-time job at Visa after graduation.

Eligibility:

  • Intend to pursue an education in Technology (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related majors) or Business (e.g., HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, International Business, or related majors)

  • Current high school seniors enrolled or intending to enroll in a full-time undergraduate degree in any accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.

  • Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident

  • Minimum high school GPA of 3.0

  • Demonstrate a financial need

  • Identify as Black/African American

Scholar Expectations: (including, but not limited to the following):

  • Must be able to participate in all program-related activities

  • Remain in good academic standing

  • Maintain no disciplinary infractions on academic record

  • Students selected to participate in the program must provide TMCF with supporting documentation requested during the financial need verification process
