La Unidad Latina Foundation Scholarship
La Unidad Latina Foundation is a community of socially conscious college-graduates dedicated to the advancement of the Latino community nationwide. The scholarship is available for students who are currently enrolled in an eligible bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited four-year college or university.
Award: Multiple awards up to $2,000
Deadline: December 1, 2022
Eligibility:
Must be an undergraduate or graduate student of Latino/Hispanic heritage
Must be a resident of the United State of America.
Must have completed at least one full-time year of study for undergraduate.
At least one full time semester of study for graduate.
The Lagrant Foundation 2023 Scholarship Program (Undergraduates)
The scholarship program is open to Undergraduate (current freshmen, sophomores, juniors and non-graduating seniors ONLY!) applicants who meet the criteria and complete the online application.
Award : $2,000
Deadline: February 28,2023.
Eligibility:
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or DACA recipient
Must be a member of one of the following ethnic groups: African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino or Native American/American Indian
Must be a full-time student at a four-year, accredited institution in the U.S., carrying a total of 12 units or more per semester/quarter
MUST major in a field of study that has an emphasis in advertising, marketing, public relations
MUST have AT LEAST ONE YEAR to complete his/her degree from the time the scholarships are awarded in May 2023
The Lagrant Foundation 2023 Scholarship Program (Graduates &Ph.D. Students)
Graduate & Ph.D. student applicants meeting the following criteria and completing the online application will be considered for The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) scholarship.
Award: $3,250

MUST major in a field of study that has an emphasis in advertising, marketing, public relations
MUST have a MINIMUM OF TWO ACADEMIC SEMESTERS or ONE-YEAR left to complete his/her Master’s degree from the time the scholarship is awarded in May 2023. Summer semesters DO NOT count
Minority Teacher Education Scholarship
The Minority Teacher Education Scholars (MTES) program is a collaborative performance-based scholarship program for African-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, and Native American students administered by the Florida Fund for Minority Teachers, Inc. (FFMT).
Award: $4,000
Deadline: November 30,2022
Eligibility:
Be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
Have not earned more than 18 hours of upper-division-level courses in education at the time of application.
Belong to one of the following racial groups: African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander or American Indian/Alaskan native.
Be admitted into a teacher education program at any of the program’s eligible participating postsecondary institutions.
Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
The Youth Awards honors Latinx high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their excellence in various categories including: Business & Entrepreneurship, Community Service, Education, Engineering, Green Sustainability, Healthcare & Science, Media & Entertainment, Public Service & Social Justice, Sports & Fitness and Technology.
Award: $1,000
Deadline: November 13,2022
Eligibility:
Be currently enrolled in high school and graduating in the spring of 2023
Must have a minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10.0 scale
Must enroll at an accredited higher education institution in 2023-2024
Be of Hispanic heritage (includes Spain, Brazil, Philippines)
If selected, attendance to virtual regional awards ceremony is mandatory
Annual scholarships of $25,000 are awarded to support each recipients’ college education, regardless of where they want to attend. Annual scholarships of $12,500 are also available for recipients wishing to attend trade school.

Be graduating from a Nebraska high school or obtain GED in the current academic year and plan to begin their freshmen year of post-secondary the following academic year.
Be a resident of Nebraska at the time of graduation.
Show financial need, a defined as a low-income family whose adjusted gross family income is $65,000 or lower annually.
Justin David Valle Scholarship
This scholarship will honor the life of Justine David Valle and help support a Hispanic student with a life-threatening illness.

Marie J. Smith Esq. Social Science Scholarship
Marie J. Smith, Esq. believed that acquiring an education is a very important step for students to contribute to society in a meaningful way. High school students, undergraduates, and graduate students are eligible to apply if they are Hispanic or Black and pursuing a career in a social sciences field. In your application, write about how you plan to use your career to make an impact.
Award: $1,000

Latinos in Technology Scholarship
The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley awards the Latinos in Technology Scholarship to up to 100 Latino students who are studying a STEM-related field. Scholarship recipients will also be presented with internship opportunities to continue learning and gaining experience in the field.

Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship:
GFOA provides several scholarship opportunities for students interested in pursuing a career in state/provincial or local government finance. Encouraging and supporting educational opportunities for future government finance officers are integral to our mission of promoting best practices in local government.

NBCUniversal LNESC Scholarship
The NBCUniversal Media Scholarship Program is intended to assist and encourage outstanding undergraduate Latino students attending a U.S. post-secondary institution with an interest in the media and entertainment industry. The scholarship is divided into two disbursements of $2,500 for the fall and spring.

The AMS Minority Scholarships provide scholarship opportunities to minority students who are often underrepresented in the sciences. Members of the American Meteorological Society 100th Anniversary Program donate to the scholarship to help provide benefits to a diverse community and promote inclusion in atmospheric, oceanic, and hydrologic sciences.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold permanent resident status.
Minority students who will be entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2022 are eligible to apply.
Students must plan to pursue careers in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. Marine Biology is not eligible.
Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Students eligible to apply for the AMS Minority Scholarship Program may also apply to the AMS Freshman Scholarship Program but can only accept one scholarship if selected for both.
